Lynchburg Award Program Honors the Achievement
Hickey Electric Company, Inc. has been selected for the 2020 Best of Lynchburg Award in the Electrician category by the Lynchburg Award Program.
Each year, the Lynchburg Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Lynchburg area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2020 Lynchburg Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Lynchburg Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Hickey Electric, Generator, Heating and Air is pleased to be an exhibitor at the 2019 Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo April 9 and 10 at the Liberty University Indoor Track.
More than 5000 regional middle and high school students will be attending to explore career opportunities for their future. We will showcase relevant job awareness in our industry with a brief demonstration of how thermostats produce power inside and out.
Daniel Henson, HVAC service manager, and Carrie Mooney, customer service representative, will be assisting Fred Hickey, president, in speaking with students.
Our team is dedicated to our various professions in the home service industry, and it would be such a pleasure to influence young people to prepare for these technical careers in the electrical, heating, cooling, generator and clean air fields. We also like to remind students that our industry requires many non-technical employees such as managers, bookkeepers, marketing and customer service professionals.
The Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo is presented by the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.
